Field Day Shirts and PTA Cookbook: 4/11 pre-order deadline!

Hi everyone! I have rarely posted but I wanted to draw attention to two deadlines coming up, one being very personal to me.

This Friday, 4/11 is the deadline for pre-orders for both Field Day shirts and the PTA Cookbook. Use the links below to place your orders before Friday!

For the Field Day shirts as mentioned previously there is no 5th grade option (blue) because the PTA is gifting 5th graders their field day shirts.

And for the cookbook, I wanted to thank the PTA board – especially Vanessa who led the effort – for making the thought of a second volume of the cookbook a reality. I was a student at Waverly when the original cookbook was created, my grandmother Doris Case was one of the original principal’s secretaries and contributed a lot to the first volume of “How to feed a Wildcat”. When my daughter Frankie became a Wildcat I started wondering about the idea of a second volume having grown up seeing the original in both my grandmother’s kitchen and my own home. I am thrilled that this PTA took it on and made it real, and I’d encourage everyone to grab a copy (or two!) to save and keep for your Wildcats. It’s something that years later I still appreciate looking back on and now that volume II is out it’s amazing to see how the Waverly community has changed while also remaining as great as ever. Go Wildcats!
